CGN Dasheng is a leading manufacturer of industrial electron accelerators, transport systems and associated infrastructure. Electron accelerators generate high energy beams of electrons, and in some case x-rays, that can be used treat or improve the characteristics of a wide range of materials, objects or substances.

Accelerators are available in two designs direct current (DC) and radio frequency (RF). DC accelerators are relatively straightforward to control and the beam voltage and current can be varied over large ranges typically 1-5 MeV. Unlike DC accelerators RF accelerators do not have to prevent discharge across the full acceleration voltage along their length. This allows RF accelerators to operate over a large energy range and to be relatively compact. There are many variants of RF accelerators including linear accelerators.

In industrial facilities, where high radiation doses are required, accelerator efficiency is very important. DC accelerators are traditionally more efficient than an RF accelerator but technological improvements are greatly improving efficiencies of all accelerators.

DG Electron Accelerators

This is a direct current (DC) accelerator based on the well proven ELV design. The accelerator is low energy but powerful and efficient. It is available with a maximum operating energy of 0.5 MeV and power of 100 kW.

DD Electron Accelerators

This is a direct current (DC) accelerator design. Our DD accelerators are high frequency and high voltage and are available in 11 formats. The maximum operating energy is 5 MeV with power ranging from 30 – 200 kW.  The 5 MeV DD machine is available with an x-ray convertor. The accelerators are available in vertical, horizontal and flat formats. Some designs are self-shielded or semi self-shielded.

DZ Electron Accelerators

This is an radio frequency (RF) linac accelerator. Our DZ accelerators are available with a maximum operating energy of between 4 and 12 MeV and a maximum power of 40 kW. DZ accelerators provide a penetration ability that low energy systems cannot produce. Our DZ accelerators are available with an x-ray converter and are available in 4 formats.

DZL Electron Accelerators

These are low energy self-shielded curtain accelerators which use a series of filaments to create the stream of electrons. DZL accelerators are available with energies of 0.09 MeV to 0.2 MeV. The accelerators are used to cure pressure sensitive adhesives, paper, film, for printing, soft packaging and for coatings.
